Shree Lohana Mahajan Southampton was formed on 5th March 1978 with 43 Lohana families as founder members.

The Mahajan currently has around 100 Lohana families as members, operates with a Management Committee and a Board of Trustees and is governed by an agreed Constitution. The Mahajan is an active member of the parent body Lohana Community United Kingdom (LCUK).
